Chief Secretary RS Sharma has said that an Integrated Jail Management System will help in making available the digital data of protection, analysis and reporting of the jails in the State.
Sharma was speaking during a meeting regarding the reforms of jails through computerisation. He stressed to retain the e-meeting slot and said that anyone can fix, cancel or reschedule the time for meeting through video conferencing according to his or her convenience. He said that adequate steps must be taken to strengthen the connectivity and other basic facilities for the facility.
