Commissioner of Rail Safety (CRS), Prabhat Kumar Vajpayee inspected the new rail line on December 23 and 24.
On his two day visit CRS Vajpayee inspected new rail line from Koderma to Hazaribag on first day . CRS Vajpayee said,”Two day visit was a successful visit .Speed trial was done at a speed of 70 Kilometer per hour successfully the special train covered the distance of 80 kilometers from Hazaribag to Koderma in 1 hour 45 minutes.”Every thing found OK on this new route excluding the death of a railway staff during the accident t of trolley on first day. The ferrying of passenger train would be started soon,he added.
Notable, the fourth grade railway staff KK pandey lost his life during the collapse of trolley with special engine on Tuesday and four others Babloo Gupta,Nageshwar Prasad ,Sanjay Chaudhary and Ramashish Roay were injured. Chief Administrative Officer lalit Narayan Jha of construction Department Mehendru, Divisional Rail Manager Dhanbad BB Singh.Deputy Commissoiner of Rail Safety Asim Kumar Dey, Senior Divisional commercial Manager Dayanand . Ved Prakash,Santosh Kumar Dubey,RPF commandant SN Jha, and railway officersof different departments were present during visit.
