The CRPF have recovered huge quantity of explosives from the Purnapani forest area of Gomia block on Wednesday during area domination drive of the forest area of Bokaro-Hazaribagh border .ASP Sanjay Kumar said that the explosives were found hidden in the forest and it seems that the Naxal ultras have kept it for creating panic and disturbing the law and order situation in the localities .
ASP Sanjay Kumar informed that the joint team of police and CRPF recovered one cane bomb of approx 15 kg of its weight ,two empty steel canes ,90 meters of wire,two m-seal pocket,one glycerin packet, and 12 no of pencil battery from the forest .
Police sources said that the expert team of defuse personnel today defused the bomb in presence of higher police officials .
According to Bokaro superintendent of police Y.S. Ramesh that we have got information that the left ultras are planning to disturb the localities and preparations are going on to have blasts at many places of Gomia to create panic .This seizure has been made after getting concrete information by our sources .
ASP Sanjay Kumar also confirmed that all the seized bomb and explosives have been successfully diffused today afternoon .Kumar said that the area like Jhumra domination drive is going on to sanitize entire areas .Besides local police teams the jawans of CRPF are also taking part in this drive .
The team which recovered the caches of ammunition from the extreme naxal affected area of Jhumra which is near to Purnapani under the Jageshar- Bihar police station was led by the assistant commandant of CRPF Sidharth Kumar ,O/C of Jageshar police station and other were the member of this team .
