In Harli village of Daru block of Hazaribagh district almost ready crop of wheat and tur spread in about three acre area burnt into ashes due to sudden outbreak of fire into the field.
According to the villagers there is a holy place near that crop field where someone has performed some rituals in the morning. They returned back but left the earthen light pots filled with oil in burning state. Due to wind the fire spread in the field and within minutes the entire crop turned into ashes. This field was of Mahavir Mahto, Devki Mahto and Mohammad Hayat.
