Two bikeborne miscreants late on Sunday night hijacked a JCB at gunpoint and brought it to site by forcing the JCB driver to drive six kilometers of distance to reach Panchayat Bhavan to bulldoze the building. They could damage a major part of the building and ran away from the scene in the middle of their operation apprehending the arrival of police.
SP Sangeeta Kumari and SP Naushad Alam got to their feet immediately after receiving information and reached at site for investigation.Neither any organisation has claimed this act nor any pamphlet found in the vicinity. Curiously villagers didn’t show any hint of fright element of Naxal terror and appeared unfazed. A ploy of persons with vested monetary interests of building contractors also not ruled out.Strategic location of the place Satgawan with adjoining borders to three districts of Koderma, Giridih and Nawada with common forest area makes the region a safe haven to disappear into after a major strike adds to the woes of police in tracking them.
Armed personnels camped at Panchayat Bhawan in Satgawan till last 12th April during the first phase of polls and the very same building was set on fire on 18th April allegedly by Naxalites.
