Under the ambit of the State level bankers committee, the Hazaribag lead bank Bank of India organised a Credit Outreach Programme in the town hall on Wednesday. This programme is treated as “ grahak Jansampark Abhiyan” . With the help of this programme the bankers made people aware of the different banks welfare schemes. The programme was chaired by deputy commissioner of Hazaribag Nancy Sahay.
On this occasion the DC appreciated the efforts of the banks in the district. She said that the district administration will always support the banks in the implementation of the bank scheme, The deputy development commissioner Prerna Dixit said in her speech that the administration has conducted the district level bankers committee every three months in the district to observe the progress of the banks in the different schemes. She has appealed to the banks to come forward for the development of the district.
In the programme banks gave financial sanction on the applications which came from the different blocks of 5132 lakhs amount. The banks had received the application of the 4867 lakhs from the different blocks along with district headquarters.
In the campus of town hall the different banks and departments have opened the counter to provide the detailed information of the schemes of the banks and the district administration.
In the programme chief manager SMH Naqavi, Zonal Manager of Bank of India Jamal Ahmad, district industry department officer, DDM of NABARD and municipal corporation officer were present.
