Chief Secretary RS Sharma instructed officials to create State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) to ease the burden of cases on courts. Sharma was holding a review meeting with officials of law department.
Sharma said matters related to Government also goes to the High Court hence with the creation of SAT all Government related cases will be solved in the tribunal which will help in saving time besides bringing relief to Government employees. CS instructed Principal Secretary Personnel, Administrative Reforms & Rajbhasha Aditya Swarup to do the needful for the creation of SAT.
Significantly, CS instructed publication of e-gazette as well as uploading all acts & ordinances of the State on website so that the same can be available at one place. He also instructed computerisation of Advocate General’s office and law department’s office.
