CPM to organise series of gheraos

CPM politburo Member Brinda Karat has announced district and block-wise agitations during November 7-14 in State against Government’s ‘anti-people’  moves since its inception. She said that the government had failed to deliver every single promise in State and the party would conclude its protests on November 15 with agitations at all district headquarters altogether on the day. She said that the Party will organise its State Committee meeting in Dhanbad in second week of January.

Sharing issues discussed in Central Committee meeting in Delhi recently, Karat in a Press Conference on Sunday criticised the Government with issues as local as recent alleged hunger deaths in Simdega and Dhanbad and communal violence in Khunti to as national as BJP leader’s and minister’s visit to Kerala to BJP National President Amit Shah’s son’s involvement in making unethical money through his company.

“This is the State under BJP rule where `100 Crore fund of Mid-Day Meal gets transferred to a private company. And this is the government under BJP-RSS rule at centre which has tried its best to destabilise left ruled States like Kerala and Tripura. Here State government deleted more than 11 lakh ration cards and left poor people starving, and went for getting salaries of ministers and MlAs hiked,” said Karat.
