The Communist Party of India (CPI) will organise Vikalp rallies at all the divisional headquarters of Jharkhand in coming days. On May 15, the vikalp rally of North Chotanagpur division will be organised in Hazaribagh, announced by State Secretary of CPI Bhuvaneshwar Prasad Mehta.
Mehta said that this rally will be unique in the sense that party will not provide any vehicle to the workers for the rally. He hoped that more than 50,000 people will take part in this vikalp rally. On the issue of President rule in Jharkhand Mehta clearly said that the Assembly should be dissolved and fresh election process should be started.
On the issue of developmental works going on during President rule he commented that it is not development but loot of public money is going on. Citing the examples of different blocks of Hazaribagh Mehta tried to explain that the areas which really need developmental works are still deprived.
