The CPI (Ml) with Jharkhand Abhiyan Kendra and women organisations will organize a Raj Bhawan March on July 5 with respect to the crime against women in Jharkhand.They will also seek help from the government for the people of Uttrakhand.
“After bearing in mind all the crime against woman, which have taken place in last few months in Jharkhand -- whether it was two year old girl raped in Doranda or Deogarh rape and murder case and not forgetting the ever devastating incidents in Uttrakhand, the party along with Jharkhand Abhiyan Kendra and Mahila Sangathan will call a Rajbhavan march on July 5,” said CPI (Ml) State secretary Janardhan Prasad at a press conference here on Monday.
Prasad also added that the party had collected a total sum of Rs 1.06 lakh as a relief fund for the victims as well as the residents of Uttrakhand and they would send it for their relief soon. Party members will also start relief operation in Uttrakhand in the month of July.
“The news which we are receiving from Uttrakhand is focusing only about the pilgrims and the religious places but the disaster has not only affected the pilgrims but many villages of Pithoragarh and Khumalo were flodded and destroyed and the residents of that place are now helpless.
Our focus for the relief operation will be on the residential of Uttrakhand and we will try our best to start the relief operation from the month of July. Many questions now arise due to this disaster that even in such situations political parties are taking benefits from it which is very criticizing,” said party General Secretray Dipankar Bhattacharya.
He also said, “ The protest started by the workers of Maruti will complete its one year on July 18. As many as 147 Maruti workers are in jail from last one year so the party has decided that on the same day in front of all big showrooms of Maruti all over the country the party workers will raise their voice in their support”.left party have also decided to state protest on July 22 and stressed on working with revolutionaries of Jharkhand in future.
