Former Speaker of Jharkhand Assembly CP Singh would represent the State in the 59th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) meet going to take place in Johannesburg, South Africa in September. Incumbent Speaker Shashank Shekhar Bhokta proposed his name.
The Speaker also announced names of the chairmen and members for various Assembly committees.
