An awareness programme on prevention of Covid-19 epidemic was organized in the Coke Oven and By-Products Department of Bokaro Steel Plant on Sunday. On this occasion, Executive Chief General Manager (CO & BPP) NC Saha, General Manager (CO & BPP) KN Jha, Departmental Security Officer & General Manager (CO & BPP) Shiv Shankar, Manager (Security) BNK Shyamala, including 50 personnel were present.
In the programme, Saha called upon the employees to apply face masks, observe social distance and pay special attention to wash hands at regular intervals. The keynote speaker Jha elaborated the personnel about the prevention of infection from this disease. The HRD hall was completely sanitized before the program was organized.
Also series of awareness programs were organized in the BSL’s SMS-2 and CCS departments to take care of the operation of electrical equipment and to make them aware of the safety aspects, following social distancing. In the program, Chief General Manager (SMS-2 & CCS) P. Deva, General Manager Rajesh Bahadur, Deputy General Manager (CCS-Electricity) SK Suman, Deputy General Manager (SMS-2-Electricity) Naveen Tete and officers of Security Department and Contract workers were present.
