India’s ‘best’ Para legal Volunteer (PlV), Basanti Gope passed away on Saturday. Gope was undergoing treatment at RIMS for the past few days. Gope was suffering from Cancer.
On the directions of Acting Chief Justice, Jharkhand High Court, Justice DN Patel, National Award Winner Para legal Volunteer Basanti Gope was admitted to RIMS by a special team of Jharkhand legal Services Authority on June 28. Gope, who was conferred the national award for best PlV in the year 2017 and before shifting to RIMS, Gope was under treatment at a Chaibasa based hospital for several months.
