lohardaga Municipal Corporation has become a centre of corruption, said the central secretary of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha while talking in a Press conference.
He said, “Before elections, ward councillors and chairpersons had promised to avail the public amenities as water, road and electricity. But now they care only for their own benefits. They don’t bother for the public problems.” He noted the point of garbage management and a murky deal of purchasing the land neglecting all the rules and regulations.
He said, “Brokers are being given the benefits in spite of genuine land owners. Even DC and Executive officer of the MC seem to involved in this dealing. We would go to the court from road.”
A trumpet is being blown for by-pass road but in vain. Before purchase of the land advertisement should be given and tender should be passed for construction work. The BJP is also trying to save the culprits. Sazzad Khan also told the MC the centre of murky deals.
