Coronavirus vaccination slows down in Palamu?

Published on:

Coronavirus vaccination has slowed down in Palamu. Sources said there is an utter lack of zest for it. This Wednesday more than 400 vaccinations were to be done. Palamu could finish with little over just one hundred on Wednesday.

Civil Surgeon, Palamu, John F Kennedy has confirmed this saying he is urging front line workers to reach the vaccination session site and get the shot. Sources said a clumsy process of registration has pulled a brake on the speed of the Coronavirus vaccination.

Sources said such is the clumsiness that DIG of police Palamu R K Lakra is waiting for his name and number to come on the Covid portal for the jab.

Kennedy said he has been to national highways and state highways peeping into how the dhabas there are maintaining Covid appropriate behaviour.

He said on Wednesday night he and one executive magistrate Aftab Alam visited a couple of dhabas on the national highway and state highways and found neither the dhaba owners nor the crew of the drivers etc is any concerned about Coronavirus.

The drivers and their helpers looked more conscious of their tyre tube than fuel than this viral infection said Kennedy.

Aftab Alam said there is a great need to launch a massive crackdown on the violators of the Covid appropriate behaviour without which nothing can help to tame people to wear masks and observe hand wash and physical distancing.
