Chief Minister Hemant Soren reviewed the Jharkhand Agricultural Loan Waiver Scheme (JKRMY) at the Ministry of Jharkhand on Tuesday. During the review, the Chief Minister was apprised by the officers that under JKRMY the loan waiver of 9,07,753 eligible farmers was to be done in the State, but against 9,07,753 eligible farmers, only 6,06,000 farmers were disbursed by various banks.

Expressing concern over this, the Chief Minister directed that a meeting with the banks under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary should be organized soon to speed up the loan waiver work of the deprived eligible farmers under the Agricultural Loan Waiver Scheme. Resolve the problems related to loan waiver of farmers at the earliest.
