The police-public relationship seems to be more strengthened through social policing. It may be noted that before some days a social programme was organised in Kisko Thana premises under the campaign of social policing in the head of lohardaga SP Sunil Bhashkar.
The place is naxal infected and far from town. In the programme many things as dresses, bicycles, sports and educational materials were distributed among the needy persons of Peshrar and Kisko blocks.
SP Sunil Bhashkar said, “To control crimes, the cooperation of public is essential. Police will try to solve out the problems of the villagers. To establish a direct relationship between public and the police the department organizes these types of programme.
In the programme many villagers from Peshrar, Java Khand, Kekrang, Rorad, Masuria Khand, Pakhar, Ghorgirwa, Madua Pat, Hutap, Salaiya, Chhudan Toli and Kisko were present. Total 200 blankets, 200 saris, 200 sweaters, 58 school bags, 300 jerseys, 12 track suits, 30 lowers, 40 volley balls, 11 volley ball nets and 46 floor sheets were distributed.
