Controversies continues to haunt former Jharkhand Police DGP Dinesh Kumar Pandey even after his retirement after his daughter-in-law Rekha Mishra lodged a complaint of harassment at Mahila police station of Ranchi district on Saturday against her husband Subhankar Pandey besides Pandey and his wife Poonam pandey for harassing her.
In the complaint she alleged she was harassed for dowry. Besides, she further alleged her husband is gay and she was pressurised by her in-laws to establish physical relationship with others. But Pandey who is a 1984 batch IPS has been charged with serious allegations that he tried to establish physical relationship with her daughter-in-law who is daughter of a senior BJP leader Ganesh Mishra.
Married with Subhankar about three years back she said that she discovered about homosexual relationship about her husband right after the marriage adding that Subhankar was not keen for a conjugal life.
She claimed that when she told her in-laws about unusual sexual inclination of her husband they termed it as a mere medical problem which will be cured.
While Pandey could not be contacted Rekha’s father told The Pioneer that the former DGP kept him in dark about his son and his sexual inclination.
