All appears is not to be well at Binod Behari Mahto Koylaanchal university (BBMKU) here as controveray crops up after transfer of select principals by outgoing regiatrar soon after Rajbhawan had notified appointment of new registrar.
In a notification no1168 the outgoing registrar notified apointment of new regiatrar sighting Rajbhawan orders.
Interestingly, after this the outgoing registrar notified transfer of Dr Sharmila Rani principal of SSLNT Women's college as principal of BSK Maithon college.
In an another notification no1178 univeraity CCDC AK Maji who also was in additional charge of Gomia degree college as made in-charge principal of aforementioned college. In yet another order 1179 Dr Sarita Srivastava professor of Physic of SSLNT has been ordered to join Gomia college as incharge principal.
Most intresting fact here as that Dr Sharmila Rani happens to be the lone principal in BBMKU whose services has concerrance from Jharkhand Public Service Commission.
When contacted for comment on the notifications Dr Sharmila said, the order appears to have been issued out of haste to satisfy whimsical attitude of vice-chancellor as she as principal had opposed some of the decisions of the VC.
Sighting some she said that she had opposed demand of Rs seven lakh per private Bed colleges by VC for granting affiliation, opposed starting corredpondnce courses in college sighting rules and demand of a sum of Rs one lakh from her as personal donation in so called college development fund of university .
Yet another issue was VC has made some derogatory remark on her during as meeting in university. While opposing him she has asked to prove the remark or withdraw it.
Its supposed that the VC took advantage of the opportunity and forced outgoing registrar to issue transfer orders.
Meanwhile, on Saturday evening AJSU students union burnt effigy of VC to oppose wighdrawing notified holiday of Mansa Puja. Union president Vishal Mahto said, its nothing but playing with sentiments of people of Jharkhan by the VC.
