One person was critically injured in a shootout incident at Bitagrah area under the Muffasil PS here on Wednesday morning. The incident took place at 7 am in which one Suresh Raut, an employee of China plant was got seriously injured. Suresh Raut sustained two bullets injuries and was rush to local Sub-Divisional Hospital, Giridih, and then refereed to BGH, Bokaro. His condition is reportedly to be stable. Police said the motorcycle-borne criminals intercepted Suresh Raut near Bitagrah More with the intension of loot. Suresh Raut was reportedly carrying a heavy amount for payment of local staff in the power plant. Before the victim could react, one of the criminals fired at him from back while another from front.
