An alleged contract killer believed to be responsible for the deaths of more than three people has been arrested by the Giridih police following a manhunt lasting more than a decade, SDPO Manish Toppo said here on Sunday.
The criminal has been identified as Jitendra Hazaara, who was detained near Giridih college by the Giridih police under the leadership of SDPO, Manish Toppo alonwith officer-in charge Muffasil police station Surendra Kumar Singh and assistant sub inspector of Bengabad Jai Prakash Narayan Sinha.
According to reports the accused Jitendra Hazaara confessed to having killed two in Jamui in Bihar one in Giridih.
The killer have taken a contract for the murder of two people in jasmui.
After killing at Jamui he also had killed one person in Giridih after refusing to pay him contract money ,police sources said
According to reports the contract killer Jitendra Hazaara, belonging to Ahilyapur area in Giridih, who had came at Giridih college on Friday ,while the police team led by SDPO Manish Toppo raided the place and arrested him on the post, as information provided by SP, Akhlesh V. Varier to the team, said SDPO
A well –known criminal is being questioned on Saturday, during his confession Hazaara having enrollment in dozen case of loot, dacoities, murder in around Bihar and Jharkhand, police sources said.
Though he is officially wanted in his enrollment in Dalmia petrol pump loot on March 4, loot in Bengabad on May 4, Daoity at Pachamba at Praveen Bagedia,s house on May 1,shootout case no 117/16and also involved in day-night robbery under Muffasil police station.
All crimes occurred by him he accepted, Police said.
