In broad day light two unidentified criminals' committed loot and escaped with Rs5 lakh from an employee of private construction company under Sector-4 police station at Bokaro on Monday noon.
According to the police two criminals riding on a motor bike looted bag carrying cash from Z Khan and Habibullah, employees of Eastern India Construction company as soon as they came out for the Union Bank after withdrawing cash at City Center, Sector - 4.
The incident occurred in broad day light at 12.30 PM at City center the most crowed place of the city. Duo made a withdrawal of Rs 5 lakhs from Union Bank branch, said OC of local police station.
The criminals escaped with cash, while the bag was thrown away at Jaina More. At 2 PM one person called the police that he found a bag with passbook on the road at Jaina More.
The passbook belongs to the Eastern India Construction Company, police said. A case has been registered and we are investigating into matter, criminals are arrested soon, said Y S Ramesh SP Bokaro.
