The constituent units of the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FJCCI) sent their presidents to vote on their behalf in the chamber elections. The Kolhan region of Jharkhand which includes Jamshedpur and considered the most industrialised area of the State sent its president Suresh Santhalia to elect suitable office bearers of the chamber.
“The chamber earlier neglected Kolhan where more ancillary units associated with a particular business are located. Disgruntled businessmen always complained about lack of cooperation from the chamber however with the profile of the candidates in fray Kolhan can finally expect
that its problems will be addressed by parent body,” said Santhalia. Santhalia was elected on September 24 by the members of the Kolhan Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Santhalia added, the contestants have vowed to take our matters with the Government so the members hope that the industries in Kolhan particularly Jamshedpur would benefit
due to its association with FJCCI.
