To promote the products of Self Help Group, these must be purchased by the local persons, so their economic condition will improve. The council has decided to launch a special drive in the rural areas to link the bank with SHGs, said Deputy Commissioner, Hazaribag Nancy Sahay.
She said that village based organization for employment should be on the priority on block level. This is the duty of the Block Development Officers of every block to conduct review meetings every month.
The DC further asked officials to connect maximum people with self-employment and provide them livelihood opportunities.
She further said that on the block level a special drive to be started to link maximum Self Help Groups that can get the loan from the banks. The drive will be up to 15 September of this year.
She said that we should start the plan under the JSLPS (Jharkhand State livelihood Promotion Council) so that the women become economically strong. We should also try to make available the market to the products which are prepared by the SHG.
The DC further suggested that in the district we should start Palash Mart to Signature Mart. Maximum number of women must be attached with the Phoolo Jhano Ashirwad Yojana. We should also try to create the maximum SHG in the district to attach with their livelihood .
District coordinator Shanti Marandi said that we will start the special drive for linkage of SHG with banks. We will suggest to the members to use the cashless transactions through the bank. We will write a letter to every bank to promote the cashless transaction among the SHG and other organizations which are running for the purpose of providing livelihood to the villagers.
