Members of Congress Party led by senior leader SRA Rizwi Chabban on Thursday met deputy commissioner Amitabh Kaushal to highlight the electricity situation in the Naxal infested areas of East Singhbhum.
Chabban said that despite repeated assurances JSEB has not been able to improve the power situation.
It had made only promises. People in Naxal infested areas are worst hit and so was agriculture.
He demanded that a 2.5 acre land must be allotted so that a sub power station can be set up at Dampada Gram of Ghatshila.
