The Supreme Court repealed the propaganda created by the Congress party from last three months on Rafale Jet and Air fighter purchase deal said BJP Jharkhand Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo on Friday in Latehar. The Congress party should apologise to the nation for creating such kind of propaganda, he added.
Addressing a press conference in Latehar on Friday Shahdeo said the Congress has no shame as the party is raising finger on the verdict of the Apex Court. The Central government had already applied for the spelling correction of a paragraph of the verdict, he added.
Lauding the verdict of the SC on the deal Shahdeo said, “The SC has approved the Central government’s right on the three points of the deal. The three issues are- the process of purchase of plain, price of the air fighter and choice of the offset partner. The Congress party should apologies to the nation for its bad work. But instead of repentance they are now raising finger on the Apex Court’s decisions. This instance exhibits that the party has no faith on the Constitutional institutions.”
Hitting hard on the Congress party the State BJP Spokesperson said, “Involved in big defence scandals such as Bofors Scandal, HD Submarine scandal and AgustaWestland scandal they have no worry about the country’s sovereignty. The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government has started the talk on Rafale but till 2014 they had not finalised it.”
Speaking on the occasion Shahdeo said, “The Government of India and The government of France have signed agreement on the issue, not with the Rafale Company. As it said earlier on several times the government has purchased the Jet at nine per cent lower than the price fixed by the UPA government. And the Air fighter price is 20 per cent less than the price of UPA government.”
He further demanded that if the Congress Party’s leaders have any shame then they should apologies in front to the nation.
MLA Harikrishan Singh, the Latehar District General Secretary, Jaivardhan Singh and District Vice President Premchand Pandey were also present at the occasion.
At another press conference in Lohardaga on Friday Shahdeo said that
since Rahul showed his irresponsible face in the matter he must leave his post as the Congress Party president. District BJP President Rajmohan Ram said that the countrymen will teach Congress right lesson in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2019 by not giving a single seat to it. Manir Oraon, Neeraj Kumar Nalin, Balkrishna Singh, Sarita Devi and the district BJP media incharge were among those who were present in the Press Conference.
