Arrested former Minister KN Tripathy and his supporters were released on bail bond by police on Sunday. The arrested ones furnished a bail bond having security of 5,000 each.
Police had invoked section 342 (wrongful confinement) 143 (unlawful assembly) and 188 (disobedience to order promulgated by the public servant) against them added Palamu SP Indrajeet Mahatha. He further said that the expediency to invoke these sections was taken after watching the video clips of their mode of agitation.
