Following the instructions of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) against the rising inflation in the Country, on behalf of the party workers on Thursday the State Capital, in a very unique way, the discussion on inflation was held in the presence of Finance and Food Supplies Minister, Dr Rameshwar Oraon.

A chaupal organized with a cup of tea laid by laying a post and discussion on inflation was held in the Sector-2 market of Ranchi. Convener organization empowerment campaign, Alok Kumar Dubey along with Senior State Congress Leaders, Lal Kishorenath Shahdeo, Vinita Nayak, Sanjeet Yadav, Firoz Rizvi Munna and others were present.

On this occasion, Oraon said that at present common people are suffering due to unemployment and inflation. “On the one hand, due to the wrong policies of the Central Government, the employment of crores of people has been snatched, on the other hand inflation has increased the problems of the people. In 2014 the price of a gas cylinder was Rs 400, today it has become Rs 1100, the budget of the people's house has deteriorated,” he added.

“The price of all essential commodities has increased tremendously. The people of India are bearing the brunt of the economic mismanagement of the Modi Government. Removing inflation and unemployment, the two big problems of human life, is the responsibility of the Central Government, how to control it, in which it has completely failed, the same Hemant Soren's Government is giving relief to the people of its State in controlling the price,” said Oraon.

Dubey said that inflation has become uncontrollable in the Country, the Central Government is not being successful in curbing the increase in the price of essential commodities. “The price of milk for children has increased by Rs 4 per liter within four months. Earlier in the Congress government, senior citizens used to get a discount in train tickets, children up to eleven years old used to get a half ticket, but in the Modi government this exemption was already abolished and now a 1-year-old child will also have to take a full ticket. Railway is no longer the ride of the common people, the BJP government is trying to privatize it to benefit its capitalist friends. Truth be told, the day is not far when the Modi government will impose tax on the child in the womb and also on breathing,” he added.

Shahdeo said that now the BJP Government has decided to earn from the land of Ashok Hotel. Hotel Ashok will be given on a 60-year lease to private entrepreneurs, while its vacant land will be used for commercial development and luxury service apartments to earn money, he added.
