Congress chose ground like its status:Shahdeo

State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said on Tuesday that the way the Congress has chosen a very small ground for its rally, the Assembly ground, can be traced to its political status.

He said that today the mass base of the Congress in the country and the state is rapidly decreasing, the common masses are so traumatized that they want to keep distance from Congress rallies.

He said on the swinging base of opposition parties that while on the one hand BJP chooses big grounds like Morhabadi and Jagannath Maidan so that more and more common people can be made a part of its programmes, the opposition parties choose smaller grounds due to their declining mass base.

Shahdev said, “We have seen in the past how the JMM wanted to bake its political bread in the name of ground and in the end the JMM party claiming 5 lakh people would participate in its rally at Harmu Maidan with a capacity of 5,000.

This situation of the opposition parties can be clearly gauged by how determined the people are for a stable and strong government.”
