A procession on foot under the programme gaon-gaon, paon-paon was conducted by Jharkhand State Congress Committee. It was marked in the protest of the failure of State Government; protest the land acquisition bill and the burning problems of the region at Kisko block Chowk on 17th June. The procession was headed by the JPCC chief Sukhdeo Bhagat. He garlanded the statue of Veer Buddhu Bhagat at Kisko Chowk.
On the occasion Bhagat protested the land acquisition bill, loopholes of PDS and Indira Aaawas, price hike of sugar and said, “Narendra Modi and Raghuwar Das are encouraging the business big wigs. The common man is being hoaxed. Public is compelled to lead life in scarcity. Congress is running the programme against it.”
The procession passed through Fateya Toli, Nini, Nari Nawadih, Dhurwa Mod and reached to Kasiadih. They took their meal at Kasiadih and said that they will halt at night in Vishram Anandpur. In the procession Alamgir Alam, the ex-president of legislative Assembly, Jyoti Singh Matharu, Abha Singh, Manjit Alam, Samsul Ansari and many members of Congress were present.
