Addressing a press meet at the party headquarter in the State Capital on Thursday, former Union Minister, Subodhkant Sahay attacked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central Government and said that there is no caste of thief and a thief is a thief. “The person about whom this thing was said is not even an applicant in the court. Rahul Gandhi has been punished for speaking the truth and making the Prime Minister's relationship with Adani public,” he added.

Sahay said that Mahatma Gandhi also did the Satyagraha movement against the British. “Today the beating of the Central Government is at its peak. Today, even in the Parliament, we are not being given a chance to speak. It was seen for the first time when the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were not allowed to run by the ruling party. 12,000 industries were closed in this State. We were demanding a special economic zone. But from port to airport and coal mine was given to only one person. Jai Bharat Satyagraha program is being organized on these issues. The program will conclude on April 16 at the old assembly ground, Dhurva,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion former Minister in the State Government, Bandhu Tirkey said that the Congress is fighting from road to house against the tax policy of the Central Government. “For 13 days, the Congress State In-Charge has been continuously involved in the program of Jai Bharat Satyagraha. The Central Government is playing with the constitution. In this closing ceremony, people from 18 blocks will participate in the program. Congress officials up to the panchayat level and general public will participate in this closing programme,” he added.

The Congress State General Secretary cum Spokesperson, Rakesh Sinha, Amulya Neeraj Khalkho, Ranchi Rural district president, Dr Rakesh Kiran Mahato and Ranchi Congress City Chief Kumar Raja were mainly present in the press conference.
