Congress’ lies exposed on Rafale: Bhupendra Yadav

Taking a dig at the Congress party, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Bhupendra Yadav said on Monday that finally the lies of the Congress and its president Rahul Gandhi were exposed on the Rafale deal after the Supreme Court (SC) announced its verdict of November 14.

Speaking at a press conference in Ranchi, Yadav said, “The politics of lie and confusion is in the DNA of the Congress. Curtain has been raised when the SC announced its verdict on the deal. The stand of Congress president Rahul Gandhi is debilitating the military and is breaking the moral of army.” The Congress party has also raised question on defense preparedness with neighbouring countries, he added. Yadav said, “After the Kargil war it was a unanimous decision to buy Rafale jets to fortify the Air Force. But 10 years of UPA rule did not move an inch on the issue. For the fortification of defence system the Modi government decided to complete all the criteria to buy Rafale which is questioned by the Congress Party. In this regard the SC held that the deal is proper and justifiable after scrutinizing all the documents. And also the Apex court put a full stop on all the suspicion on the deal.”

He further said that this is due to complete transparency of the government the deal has been done from 9 per cent to 20 per cent less price than the previous government. Yadav said that the Congress party has been behaving irresponsibly since the beginning.  He further added, “It stands with anti-national sources at JNU.

The Indian people never expect such kind of behavior from a public servant.” Yadav said that the Government is fully determined to strengthen nation’s security. He added, “The Congress party itself tainted and it is raising question. The congress party is restless due to arrest of Michel in Agusta deal. The country can be stronger if its defence system is strong.  Modi Government is determined to fortify military and provided it innovative instruments.”
