In a bid to show its strength for upcoming general elections, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee organized a massive Rally called “Bhajpa Hatao Desh Bachao’ (Remove BJP Save Country) at Baghmara in Dhanbad on Sunday and declared that in 2019 the party will form government at the Centre.

Speaking on the occasion State in charge, RPN Singh vowed to uproot the BJP governments from Center and the State.

“The Prime Minister of India only makes false promises. On the other hand Rahul Gandhi always fulfills his promises. Within 10 days the Congress waived off loans of farmers in three States including Chhatisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. When Congress comes to power in Jharkhand we will request the Party president Rahul Gandhi to waiver off loan of farmers of the State,” he said.

Singh added, “If the Congress party comes to power at the centre, it will ensure a minimum income for every citizen of the country unlike our PM, who only makes false promises to the poor about depositing Rs 15 lakh in every person’s account.”

Speaking on the occasion State co-in-charge and Forest Minister, Madhya Pradesh, Umang Sengar said, “I have been visiting various places in Jharkhand for nearly one year and can say confidently that the BJP will not be able to form Government in the State. The biggest example of inefficiency of Government is that people are dying of hunger.”

Addressing the huge gathering, State party president Ajoy Kumar said that the time is now coming to decide the original leader in Baghmara and Dhanbad. “Modi and Raghubar both have been lying for five years, and woes of people are increasing day by day including hunger deaths, no payments of workers, insecurities among women and much more,” he said. A number of Congress leaders were present on the occasion including leader of Congress Legislative Party, Alamgir Alam, former State Minister and INTUS General Secretary Rajendra Prasad Singh and others.
