State Congress secretary and senior leader SRA Rizwi Chabban has demanded that the Tata Steel management must take immediate steps to sort out the issues related to wage revision of the company.
He said that the wage revision is due for the past several years and the steel company must sort out the matter in association with Tata Workers’ Union. He said that several steel companies like SAIl have already penned the revision but Tata Steel is yet to take a call. Chabban said that the wage revision will also provide fillip to the economy of Jharkhand and make the workers prosper. The Congress leader opined that the State Government must also intervene in the matter to deal with the situation. Meanwhile, he also asked the party workers to start preparations for the next Assembly elections in Jharkhand. He called for the Congress members to shed factional behavior, before they start preparing for the Assembly polls in Jharkhand. He said that fighting as one disciplined team was critical to ensure electoral win in the State.
Chabban said that the main poll agenda of the party in State would be corruption and development. “We have resolved to contest elections on these agenda. Party is gearing up for the elections and workers have been asked to spread message from block to district level”. “We have to work hard. let the party’s vision spread across the State and people know the difference in our rule,” stated the Congress leader.
