All India Congress Committee spokesperson Rajiv Shukla on Tuesday said that entire country is awaiting the results of the Jharkhand election. Shukla making a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Wherever the PM goes, he opens up the box of lies, the people of Jharkhand are not happy with this BJP government. Whereas inflation has increased 11 times under the BJP government, the corruption is at its peak.”
The Congress leader claimed that whenever PM visits Jharkhand, he talks on several issues, but every time he is mum on growing inflation such as escalating prices of onions and other day to day commodities.
Shukla alleaged that the money from Jharkhand is going to Gujarat and in Santhal Parganas, Gujaratis are being given land as the Government has touched CNT/SPT Act. “Five crore people lost their jobs all over the country, educated youth are sitting unemployed in Jharkhand, nearly 4500 schools are closed in Jharkhand, while at the same time 2300 private schools have been given affiliation and recognition, BJP’s focus is not on this side but only on abusing Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi,” he said adding that no one is happy with BJP government, the farmers condition is poor, youths are unemployed and inflation has gone up.
The elections in Jharkhand, which have been held in 4 phases, will be in bad shape for the BJP and a Grand Alliance government will be formed, he added.
Shukla said that the PM and the CM are worried about Bangladesh, not of Jharkhand, as their concern is how Bangladesh will get electricity. He said that Chief Minister had promised to provide 24 hours electricity, failing which he will not seek votes. “In Jharkhand, a promise was given to provide employment to one lakh youths, which became a declaration and the youths were misled. If a Congress government is formed, the Congress will develop the State on all fronts,” added Shukla.
On the Citizen Amendment Act, he said that it has been passed incorrectly in the Parliament as it should have been passed only with the confidence of the people. Shukla condemned the Act, and stated that the Act seeks to divide the country. Students of the country are angry with this bill and they are protesting across the country. On Amit Shah’s remark that a temple will be built in four months, on which Rajiv Shukla said that in four months a room is not built, he is talking about getting the temple constructed which is ridiculous.
