The Congress took a dig at the BJP for the latter’s demand of special package to the State. PCC president Sukhdeo Bhagat criticised the BJP for raising such demands and held the principal Opposition party responsible for surrendering Central aid given to the State during its regime.
Bhagat accused the BJP of leveling false charges in order to hide their failures. In his counter charge, Bhagat said the Opposition party owes an answer on why the State did not get special package during BJP’s rule at the Centre. Bhagat said that the main objective of the Congress led Government is utilising funds given by Centre judiciously besides the primary objective of growth and development of the State.
