Pradesh Returning Officers appointed to conduct and oversee organisational elections into the Congress have been handed over lists of booth committee members. In a meeting called on Monday the district electoral officers of the party submitted the names to PRO Charandas Mahant and two of his deputies.
lists of booth level committees from some other districts are yet to be submitted and Mahant directed the party officials to handover the names within a week at the party headquarter. The election process into the party is slated to commence from September 5.
Speaking on the occasion the PRO said party’s organisation is to be built as per the directions of Congress national vice president Rahul Gandhi.
