Indian National Congress (INC) National Spokesperson, Manish Tiwari on Wednesday attacked the Central Government and the State Government fiercely for their “misrule, due to which growth rate has dropped and unemployment increased”.
Addressing a press meet at the party office in the State Capital, Tiwari said that the Central Government has blown away the Indian economy, which is completely in dilapidated condition. “The Central Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has not even given shares to non-BJP-ruled states, which it collected through GST and recently the Government has said that it do not have any money to give them,” he added.
Attacking the Prime Minister the Congress National Spokesperson said that the Prime Minister visited the State on Tuesday and addressed two election rallies but he did not use a single word on increasing unemployment and dilapidating economy but in fact both are biggest issue before the country. The Prime Minister should clear his stand before people of the country that what he is going to do to redress these two main problems, he added.
Tiwari said that incidents like hunger death and farmers’ suicides in the mineral-rich State are a sign of the Government’s failure. “A large numbers of cases of malnutrition is coming forward every day, people are dying due to hunger and cases of molestation and rape are increasing in the State every day but the State Government is not taking any step to change the situation,” he added.
Hitting hard on the State Government, Tiwari said that the law and order situation of the State is in very poor situation and cases of violence against women like rape, molestation are increasing day by day and it seems the State Government is indifferent on these issues. “Recently a case of rape registered in the State Capital in which gang of boys raped a student of prestigious law university and just now another similar case happened in Giridih District of the State,” he added.
On the question of former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, Tiwari said that he has been framed under political malice. He said that the politics of malice is always negative and BJP leaders should also understand it.

The party is contesting the election under alliance with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and former Chief Minister of Bihar led Lalu Prasad Yadav led Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
