Cong, JMM allegations of corruption baseless: BJP

Published on:

State BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo today said that Congress and JMM leaders have been levelling baseless allegations against State Government of corruption and not doing development.

“They should remember that JPCC president Rameshwar Oraon had cleared the status of coalition partners and had compared them with thieves.  Former JPCC president Ajoy Kumar had also called his fellow leaders worse than criminals. Hemant Soren had also termed JMM’s coalition partners as pebbles. Now, the leaders of the parties will tell who is thief, who is pebble and who is criminal,” he said.

Pratul also said that due to the immense public support being received by the Chief Minister Raghubar Das Ji's Jan Aashirvad Yatra, opposition leaders are in a quandary.

“They have already tasted defeat in Lok Sabha elections.  This time in the Assembly elections, they are going to be completely eliminated. Therefore, these leaders are trying to tarnish the image of the State Government by making baseless allegations. But, the public knows that during the last five years, due to the focus of the Central Government and the Raghubar Government, Jharkhand has developed a lot and it has moved from the category of BIMARU State to the category of States developing rapidly.

Along with the entire State, the people of Kolhan and Santhal Parganas have also understood JMM and Congress have only used them as vote bank for years, this time the opposition parties are also going to be eliminated from these areas,” he said.
