Solving the problems of youths of this country is its main objective and it has never cared whose Government is either in the State or Center.

During this three-day long conclave you must discuss on the problems of the youth and the problems in our education system. Discuss and come with concrete solutions to show the mirror to the Government, he added.

In his address Dr. Nand Kumar, VC Central University, Ranchi, stressed on the need of change in the form of agitation. He said that time has changed and now instead of aggressive agitation you should think about any alternative mode of agitation which would be more effective. There is a great challenge before you to counter the leftist students’ organisations that are continuously propagating a wrong picture of the efforts of Modi Government of rectifying the education system. Stressing upon the need of more and more job oriented courses Dr. Kumar said that without it we cannot solve the problem of unemployment.

ABVP Central Committee member cum Chief Guest of this conclave KN Raghunandan of Andhra Pradesh said that the current education system needs to be overhauled. In our country most of the graduates are unemployed. It is high time to think upon this system which is making us literate but without any such knowledge capable of earning bread.

Citing various examples of his state Raghunandan said that today the highly educated persons are more corrupt than less educated ones. Advocating the need of skill based education system he said that it will help in making the dreams of late President APJ Kalam as he had written in his book ‘Vision 2020’ and in making India Vishwaguru.

Earlier in the morning KN Raghunandan inaugurated the stalls showing the activities of ABVP in the late Ashok Singhal Nagar (the name given by the organisers to the venue).
