The two-day long 16th Establishment day celebration of the State began on November 14, 2016 with the organization of ‘Garib Mela’. This fair was inaugurated by Minister Saryu Roy who is also in-charge of Hazaribagh district along with MlA Manish Jaiswal and others with lighting of lamp in local Cuzons ground premises.

Different organizations and political parties came together for creation of Jharkhand state because this area was far-far behind in comparison to other areas in development.

Over 16 years have passed but the dream is a dream yet. During last 16 years the state has developed but not as per the dreams of the denizens of this state. Jharkhand posses the capacity to be a developed state and for it collective effort is needed. Now we are entering into the 17th year so it is the high time that we should forget our differences and come together to make this state developed.

MlA Manish Jaiswal said that since inception of this state political uncertainty and no clear cut majority to any party worked as a main hurdle to the path of development. Now we have a government with clear cut majority which is pledged to remove the hurdles of the path of development. Defining domicile policy and many other similar decisions by this government assures us that the future of Jharkhand will be brighter.
