Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines, Pralhad Joshi chaired a review meeting of Coal India Limited (CIL) and all its subsidiaries at Central Coalfield Limited (CCL) Headquarter in Ranchi.
Coal India, Chairman Pramod Agrawal also joined the meeting virtually from CIL Headquarters. Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal (MoC), M Nagaraju, Director Technical, CIL, Binay Dayal, CMD CCL and BCCL PM Prasad, CMD ECL, PS Mishra, Director Technical (Op ) CCL, Bhola Singh, Director (Personnel) CCL BCCL, PVKR Mallikarjuna Rao, Director Technical (P&P), SK Gomasta and other dignitaries were present during the meeting.
He reviewed the performance of the coal companies and issued necessary directives so that the coal companies meet their annual target and to fulfill energy requirements of the Nation. He directed the companies to further ramp up the production and dispatch on the priority basis.
