CMD, CMPDI S Saran said on the occasion of Independence Day that the Receipt Module of e-office in CMPDI (HQ) and its RIs is working properly. Despatch and file modules of e-office will be implemented soon in CMPDI.
It is the privilege for CMPDI that it became the first among all the subsidiaries of CIl to implement e-office. Paperless and faceless system will be started with the application of all three modules of e-office.
It has started saving of papers and safeguarding of environment, too. Additionally, transparency will increase and despatching of files will be fast.
On this occasion, Saran also said that earlier, MoC had appointed CMPDI as the nodal agency for development of Coal Mine Methane (CMM). Now, for development of Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) also, MoC has appointed CMPDI as the nodal agency.
CIl/CMPDI has created the ‘Contract labour Payment Management System’ webportal for monitoring compliance of labour payment and other benefits to the contract workers under the Contract labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act,
1970. CMPDI has been included for prospecting under section 4(i) of MMDR Act,1957 through which CMPDI can do prospecting drilling in other minerals also including coal.
