The PMSVANIDHI scheme, launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, aims to provide affordable working capital loans to street vendors, helping them resume their livelihoods . Chas Municipal Corporation’s efficient implementation and effective management of the scheme have earned it this distinguished honor.
Chas Municipal Corporation stood out among other major cities in Jharkhand, such as Jamshedpur Notified Area Council and Deoghar Municipal Corporation, due to its exemplary performance in facilitating loans to street vendors and ensuring their prompt repayment.
