Hemant Soren for the first time on Wednesday after becoming Chief Minister visited his native place along with his father Shibu Soren at Nemra in Ramgarh and offered homage to his grandfather Sobran Soren.
Sobaran was treacherously killed by some unidentified persons while he was going to deliver ration for his two sons – Rajaram Soren and Shibu Soren staying at Adivasi hostel at Gola on November 27, 1957. This incident transformed the life of Shibu Soren putting himself in politics. Hemant on Wednesday laid foundation stone of a +2 school named after his grandparents at lukaiya Tand and announced that an ideal school will be established there. A stadium will also be constructed inside the school campus.
Hemant said that living standard of villages is the main motive of this Government and the works which could not be completed in the last thirteen years will be completed by me in one of the half years. Hemant announced during the public meeting that those sports persons who reach to the first, second or third position at both national and State level will be directly given jobs in the State Government.
