CM Raghuvar Das and other distinguished guests will lay the foundation stone of proposed Hazaribagh Medical College in coming April. The information was given by MlA Manish Jaiswal on Monday evening. Though the date of foundation stone laying program has not been finalized yet but it will take place in the month of April, said Manish.
All the pre-requisites for opening a medical college at Hazaribagh have been fulfilled and now the construction work will start soon. Admission of first batch in this medical college can be expected from next session, he added.
Talking about the recently concluded budget session of the Jharkhand assembly, Jaiswal said that irresponsible behavior of opposition disrupted the functioning of the house so many important issues of public interest were not discussed. The opposition only shouts about domicile policy but no one has yet given their written view or suggestion regarding this policy which was demanded by our CM last year. When asked about CPI’s BP Mehta’s claim that he had already given written suggestions to the government, Manish said that there is no member of CPI in Jharkhand assembly and cleared that all those having representation in Jharkhand assembly have yet not submitted it.
Regarding his role in the assembly session he informed about the questions raised by him in the house and about the demand of constitution of a development authority like RIADA for Hazaribagh and said that it will help in rapid development of the area and district. I have also submitted the schemes to be completed from my MlA lad and of the unutilized amount by previous MlA of Hazaribagh in the department with an assurance that his workers will keep eye on the quality of work, he added.
Talking about the recently concluded Konar Mahotsava Manish said that though it was a government program but with the officials of local administration the denizens of Hazaribagh are also entitled for a heartiest congratulation and thanks from his side.
A good number of BJP workers and office bearers of BJP were present in his office during this PC.
