Hectic efforts are on for the February 23 Chief Minister Raghubar Das visit here in Daltonganj's Pokhraha Khurd. Das is coming over here to lay the foundation stone for the medical college here.
A 12 acre plot of land at Pokhraha Khurd has been ear marked for this. A total of 292.72 crores will be spent on the construction of this medical college which is to be completed in 30 months.
SP Palamu Indrajeet Mahatha, SDO Nancy Sahay reached Pokhraha Khurd and took stock of the preparation there. The SP took note of the details there like Safe Homem portable toilet, structure of dais, passage for VVIP and commoners, safety around helipad, positioning of any obstructing tree etc.
DC Palamu Ameet Kumar said the CM's programme is hosted by Jharkhand building construction corporation. The corporation's executive engineer S N Pandey said there will come up a helipad there at Pokhraha Khurd.
