On December 1 he has to attend the identical programme at the police line Daltonganj.
Sources said the CM will be arriving at the Daltonganj police line around 12 noon and by 2 pm he will be flying for Ranchi.
DC Shashi Ranjan, SP Palamu Reeshma Ramesan and DDC Ravi Anand took stock of the preparation / arrangement for the CM visit to the police line.
This will be the third visit of the chief minister to Daltonganj in less than 75 days as he came twice here in October and then will be here November 30 night to December 1 day.
The Palamu district president of the BJP Vijayanand Pathak had this to comment "The CM is coming so often to Daltonganj . But Palamu continues to be as languishing as ever."
The BJP leader said "The CM should see that Nilamber Pitamber university here is going without a vice chancellor for around six months. The post of the pro vice chancellor is equally vacant for around the same time."
Pathak said "The Nilamber Pitamber university has an ad-hoc VC in Tapan Kumar Shandilya who is the VC of the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. Can a university run without a regular VC?"
The BJP leader further said "It was during the tenure of Raghubar Das the then chief minister of Jharkhand that the medical college had started teaching here in 2019. Today this medical college is sinking. Here the contract of 8 faculty members expired months ago and this government has not extended or renewed their contract."
Pathak said "It's a medical college and no ordinary degree college. There are 392 students here. The MBBS students going to become doctors in near future have no teacher to teach them. The 8 contractual teachers whose contracts are over 3 to 5 months ago are tense and in great dilemma. The chief minister must renew their contract."
