Chief Minister Hemant Soren during review meeting of Power department at Project Building in Ranchi on Tuesday said that adequate steps must be taken to ensure zero-power cut in the capital City and Panchayat building should be connected with the solar lights.
A DPR must immediately be prepared for underground cabling in the urban areas in Ranchi. Soren also directed to expedite the works done under Rajiv Gandhi Rural Electrification Schemes to improve the condition of power supply in the rural areas.
In a meeting with the health department, Soren asked officials to organise health services in such a way that common man develops a sense of trust on them. Hospitals must be developed as a package where people can get all the facilities under one roof. Soren also directed the officials to make adequate arrangements of all emergency drugs at the health centers in the state. He also said that there must be availability of doctors at the heath centers round the clock which also needs regular monitoring by the officials.
Reviewing Urban Development department Soren said hospitals and municipal bodies could be easily connected with the internet enabling Municipalities to get the data of all the deaths and births easily. People can easily get their birth and death certificates easily. Soren also directed to connect the tax collection facility to e-payment gateway so that people can pay their taxes themselves.
Soren also directed the officials to execute the solid waste management system in the state. lifting of wastage is not the sole responsibility but their safe disposal is also the responsibility of the department. Fogging should also be ensured in the cities.
