CM stresses on building institutions

Speaking his heart out on the completion of one year in the office, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has called for concerted and collective efforts for overall growth of the State.

The CM in his letter addressed to common citizens of the State on Tuesday also criticised opposition parties for playing politics just for the sake of opposition.

“Power is not permanent and what is permanent is the institution and system. We all have to come together to make it strong. We should keep it mind that it is because of the democratic system which has given us rights and freedom,” said the CM.

He through the letter also reiterated that his Government on the completion of one year had fulfilled all the promises made and also that those were more than what has been done in last 14 years.

He counted upon teacher appointments, job for sports persons and youths from primitive tribes, land distribution to landless and efforts to bring those have deviated back to mainstream.

“This Government has done what it has said. My resolution is to fill the vacancies anyhow. The Government is fulfilling its responsibilities. But those who have been in the power for maximum period are ridiculing the efforts,” he said and questioned the efforts being made previously on those fronts.

He also blamed the kind of politics for hampering the growth of the State despite being capable and also mentioned about “unreasonable” criticism of his when he formed the Government one year ago with the support of the Congress and RJD.

“That kind of mindset has to be changed for building right atmosphere for growth,” said Soren.

The CM terming children as future of the State mentioned felicitating toppers of JAC with cash rewards for their encouragement.

“Opposition should be done in politics and that should not be done just for the sake of opposition. It should be to force the Government to take right decisions,” said the CM and at the same time defended his tenure in the office by mentioning about general elections which, he said, obstructed in fulfilling all the aspirations of the people.

Hemant Soren also called upon youths and appealed them to think with an open mind about the criticism of his Government, especially when Assembly polls are so near in Jharkhand.
